Malaysia state of the art communication grids out shine that of the United States and Europe. In 1999, the industry has been undergoing tremendous change, deregulation, upcoming competition and a demanding and well educated customer. The demand for traditional telecommunications services revenue began to flatten as a customers in Asia Pacific were transitioning to Internet-based services, including data, voice and business services. Telekom Malaysia responded to these changing customer demands and competitive threats by introducing a comprehensive package of communications services to the rapidly expanding small and medium-sized enterprise markets. This offering in which includes Internet access and very affordable, user friendly small business services as in fax and email, will supplement and will eventually replace the old worn standard telephone services. Back in 1999, Malaysia was at par with South Korea and Taiwan in terms of broadband penetration rates. But, today, they have steadily forged ahead of these countries and by opening up it market to bring in communications technology experts and to educated it’s people to be the next-generation of highly skilled communications specialist and will create the country’s economic prosperity.

Your data is safe with Carbonite. Simply connect online, log in to your Carbonite account, and an ongoing data backup system underwrites your valued information.

Carbonite uses a combination of encryption techniques, similar to those used by banks, to safeguard your data. Files are encrypted twice before they leave your computer and remain encrypted on our servers, making it virtually impossible for anyone to access your files without your secret password. Users are also given the option to manage their own encryption key.

If your computer crashes or is stolen, you can recover lost files to a new computer by visiting our website. Recovering small amounts of data (a few files here or there) will probably take only seconds or minutes. Restoring all of your data will take longer and depends on how much data you have and the speed of your Internet connection. Most DSL services will allow you to download about 600-800 MB per hour, or roughly 14-18GB per day. For an average user, complete data restoration is likely to take at most a day or two.

It’s an unfortunate but true fact that 43% of computer users and 66% of internet users (interesting and important distinction I think) have lost irreplaceable data, such as photos, crucial documents, emails and other files.

Carbonite offer data protection with a 15 Petabyte storage capacity, providing internet and computer users an indispensable service, at the bargain rate of only mere pennies a day — an extremely small price to pay for guaranteed data protection. They also offer a 15-day free trial, which gives you a nice introduction to their services.

Once you get the relatively small Carbonite data backup program setup on your computer, it requires little ongoing work on behalf of the user. It reads and stores your data as long as you’re on the internet, and users can also log on to the Carbonite site and access their files.

Last year the New York Times named Dubai as the best travel choice for partying. The last decade has seen this one-time trading post turn into one of the world’s premiere vacation and entertainment destinations.

Located on the beautiful waters of the Persian Gulf, Dubai is both a city and an emirate in the UAE. The city has blossomed with the development of new sports venues, expensive hotels, shopping complexes, and entertainment centers as well as recreational, business, and residential areas. The city is even building artificial islands offshore to increase the amount of beach property.

It’s easy to find a 5 star hotel in Dubai and beach resorts are plentiful. Restaurants offer a wide range of cuisines, with Arab, Chinese, and South Asian foods being the most popular. Many of the top chefs from Europe and the US have opened restaurants in Dubai to take advantage of the refined tastes of the city’s visitors.

Shopping is practically a national sport in Dubai. In addition to bustling souks (traditional markets), the area is full of designer boutiques and full-scale malls. The Dubai Shopping Festival and Dubai Summer Surprises bring in over 4 million shoppers each year who spend over US$1 billion during the two events.

In recent years the development of Dubai Sports City has attracted numerous international competitions to the city. Cricket, rugby, golf, and tennis are just a few of the sports holding major tournaments in Dubai. The Dubai World Cup, a thoroughbred horse race, is the richest race in the world.

For those who prefer other forms of entertainment, Dubai is full of options. From Bollywood films to the Dubai International Film Festival, from jazz to metal to pop music, there’s usually something for everyone. Some of the recent international stars to grace the stage of Dubai include Elton John, Aerosmith, Pink, Celine Dion, and Shakira. Kylie Minogue was paid a reported US$4.4 million for a fifteen minute performance at the opening of the Atlantis resort in November 2008.

Last, but not least, is the fabulous nightlife. Although Islamic law prohibits alcohol, Dubai restaurants and clubs are allowed to sell drinks to non-Muslim tourists. Most of the bars and dance clubs are located in hotels and resorts, to make it easier to comply with the local restrictions.

Each and every year, various festivals and celebrations occur on the island of Mallorca. These festivals draw travelers and vacationers from all over the world. There are many reasons for these celebrations and most of them are steeped heavily in tradition and mythology. There are two festivals that honor animals. One such festival is in honor of ducks, the other in honor of farm animals and agricultural beasts.

The first festival, known as the Releasing of the Ducks, has created controversy over the years. Various animal rights activists protested the using of the live ducks during the event, which caused the locals to change their ways. Nowadays yellow, rubber ducks are used, but the capturing of live ducks that had been let go on the open sea went on for many years. To capture a duck released during this traditional event was the object of the game. Due to the fact that this occurred in the populated areas near the businesses, boat yards and 5 star Mallorca hotel, many of the animals were hurt in the process. Some have a hard time letting go of the tradition. A few years ago, a disguised group showed up to release live ducks into the sea, which caused quite a stir and an emotional out cry. Although this is a traditional event and a widely popular festival often drawing an audience of 2000 people or more, no one seems to know exactly what it signifies.

Another such traditional event that is more a celebration than a contest is held every year in the middle of January. This is a tribute to Saint Antoni, the farm and working animals patron saint. This is a fiesta that isn’t contained to just one city but happens in many towns across the islands. There are huge campfires surrounded by dancers in costumes and devilish make-up, dancing into the night accompanied by and drummers. These celebrations start in the early morning and continue on all day into the late evenings. A breakfast of chocolate starts off the day of culinary delights so inherent to every festival in Spain. There are performances throughout the festival all honoring the life of the saint. As the festival progresses it is sometimes compared with the Mardi Gras festival in the United States, and many people are disguised and drinking quite a bit of muscatel, the night can tend to become a bit of an erotic affair.

A lot of people these days have tattoos. And tattoos aren’t just for “tough” guys anymore. In fact, I did a search on Google using common misspelling and found that the search results that were produced were almost as good as when I did the search with the correct spelling.

I searched “tatoo gun,” “tatto kit,” and “tatto machine.” Now while I personally would not want to get a tat by someone that can’t spell it correctly, most people commonly make mistakes when doing searches. I was just impressed at the quality of results that came up.

Being a part of a small business is challenging sometimes. When it comes to efficiency, we try to use systems that will make us more competitive with the big guys. The new Outlook has lots of useful features, but we were discouraged to make the switch due to the prospect of transferring all our existing Thunderbird mail to Outlook. Thankfully, we found a great software program that makes it quick and easy to export Thunderbird to Outlook.

Some of our company laptops still had valuable data from back when we were using AOL. We were able to also easily convert the AOL address book during the upgrade process, as well. It sure saved us a lot of trouble, and now all our systems are up to date and working very well.

We expected the process to put us down for a couple days, but the software really saved us a lot of time. Because the process was so fast, we experienced very little downtime during the transition. In the future, we’re planning to use the same process to import Outlook to Notes.

Keeping our business up to speed with the rest of the competition is not easy, but we’re very thankful for this break and hope it helps other small businesses get ahead.

Have you ever looked for a lotus notes converter but couldn’t find it? Well, I did because I needed lotus notes outlook. Once I installed the software I was able to get straight to work.

My sister needed to convert outlook to lotus and once she installed the easy software she was back at work. I think that’s the problem with technology sometimes. It seems like once you get used to something, they make something new and better and then you have to convert everything manually or you lose it.
