Seattle is such a beautiful city and there is a lot to do and see there if you plan to take your family on a vacation visit. In addition to some of the most famous attractions, such as Pike Place Market and the Space Needle, there are other great cultural establishments and attractions that the whole family will appreciate and enjoy. Places like the Woodland Park Zoo and the Seattle Aquarium are great for entire families and provide exciting exhibits and encounters as well as educational features. Some of the aquarium’s popular features are interactive and allow guests to walk in the underwater dome or actually touch a sea anemone. The giant Pacific octopus is one of the favorite residents.

Other great attractions and things to do include one of the great ferry rides. The entire Puget Sound region is incredibly beautiful and having dinner on one of the ferries while enjoying the amazing cityscape views and lights of the pier will be one of the most romantic dinners you have there. One of the lesser known facts about the city is that a large portion of it burned during the fire of 1889 and the city was rebuilt over the top of the ruins. Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour will take guests through this early city and provide an interesting narrative to the history of Seattle. This is a great thing to do during the early part of your stay at one of the Seattle luxury hotels as it’s not only an interesting experience but is a great orientation to the city.
