The Latest Stove Craze

From western Europe and Asia around to United States and Australia, wood pellet stoves are becoming the new norm. But what is a wood pellet stove exactly? It has become a great portable and cheap way to keep your environment warm through the winter. The main ingredient to this fantastic heat is the wood pellets themselves. They are easy to make, cheap to make and really are a recycling of sawmill waste. They take the left over byproduct of sawmills and compact the wood slivers and shavings into dense pellet chips. They are easy to ship and transport because they are so small and light. With the price of other fuels going up this looks to be the most economical way to heat your home. Also worth mentioning is that the pellets give off very little pollution.

The stoves themselves are really convenient too. They are specially designed to burn only the pellets. They are smaller than regular log burning or electric stoves but the style of the stove is like the other kinds. You can find them to fit all sorts of home decor. Old French styles to modern urban styles. The stoves are often self regulating. You start by putting the pellets into what they call the hopper. Then there is a device that helps to transfer the pellets from the hopper into the heating chamber. All controlled by a automatic system that is governed by a thermostat. When the thermostat says it needs more heat then it tells the system to add more pellets from the hopper. It still uses the air flow from you home to move the heat like the other stoves do. Then of course there is a small tube that takes the residue gasses out of your home. It looks like a great stove to have these days.
