She went from there into pure pop, and it is here that she has received some of her best notices. She achieved a modest degree of success with Love Yourself, in 2000, and made a recent resurgence in the world music market with her compilation album and concert, Opening the Sex Boundaries. She continued to appear in films and on television, lest her hardcore fans forget that she is a woman of multiple talents. In 2008, to prove to the world that her career was stronger than ever, she won the Best Leading Actress Award for her work in Hong Kong blockbuster True Women for Sale. Her life is an inspiration to young people looking for role models that teach about the values of persistence and a positive outlook!
