I’m often on the road and while I travel I like to experience life in the areas that I visit. I enjoy meals, seek out tourist spots and indulge in one of my favorite passions watch live music.

One of the problems associated with traveling is getting my hands on tickets for some of the concerts I want to attend. In the past I would pay scalper prices for tickets. Now I do all my searching for concert tickets online before I travel. This has made life a lot easier for me. I can buy tickets (even hard to find ones or sold out ones!) and have them delivered directly to me. It certainly removes the stress of finding them at the last minute. I was able to get my hands on pop and rock tickets as well as comedy tickets on my previous travels this year.

I look forward to seeing lots of new places while I travel this year. And I also look forward to experiencing all the new and exciting things as well as live music that these places have to offer.

I love to travel. In fact, I keep souvenirs from every trip that I go on. Besides things that I pick up from the locals, I save the maps I used to get around. I was cleaning out my desk drawer and I found my maps of Greece. I love everything about Greece from the food to the people.

I also found my Italy maps. I went to the Vatican while I was in that country, though the Vatican actually counts as its own country. Eating gelato was my favorite part about Italian food. They had the most unbelievable flavors and it always tasted fresh.

I also found several Spain maps. What I liked most about Spain what the beaches. They were well taken care of and the people were nice. The sun felt different there to me. It didn’t feel so dangerous. I wore sunscreen but I got a great tan when I would normally burn.

Traveling is a wonderful hobby to have. But when I can’t go someplace, I just recall a past trip and for just a Proustian moment I’m there.

Have you ever looked for a lotus notes converter but couldn’t find it? Well, I did because I needed lotus notes outlook. Once I installed the software I was able to get straight to work.

My sister needed to convert outlook to lotus and once she installed the easy software she was back at work. I think that’s the problem with technology sometimes. It seems like once you get used to something, they make something new and better and then you have to convert everything manually or you lose it.

Anyone that loves tennis as much as me looks forward to this time of year. The third of the Grand Slam events is quickly coming up and Wimbledon 2008 is sure to be as intense as 2007.

Last year’s tennis tournament was wonderful to watch but what makes this year great is that I get to go to England for this grass-court event! I’ve never been to Europe and I can’t wait to see this historic event in person.

I read that after last year’s tournament, they built a roof over the court for this year but that after Wimbledon 2008, they will take it down and build a retractable roof. I’m not sure why but I’ll bring my sunscreen and a hat. I can’t wait to see the tournament in person.

I own a medium-sized company and I’ve been trying to expand for the past several months. I feel that our new business model is effective but once we started to hire more employees, I noticed that my go-to guys didn’t have the leadership skills needed to be supervisors. In fact, they needed a lot of management help.

I went online a read several articles on leadership skills development and directed my guys to read the same articles. I told them each to think of 3 things that they can change about themselves so each would become an effective leader.

After they individually told me what they were first going to change in their leadership style and how they think that will help their employees and the company as a whole. I observed each of them through the course of a month and I found that productivity increased with all of the new employees!

Microsoft Corp. co-founder Bill Gates is no longer the richest man in the world, according to Forbes magazine’s rankings.

In fact, he’s not even in the top two anymore.

Warren Buffet, helped by a rising price of his Berkshire Hathaway shares, is atop the list at $62 billion. It’s the first time in 13 years that Gates didn’t top the magazine’s list.

At No. 2 is Mexican telecom tycoon Carlos Slim Helú, with an estimated net worth of $60 billion.

Gates isn’t struggling at No. 3 with $58 billion, according to the magazine’s list, and is worth $2 billion more than last year. Paul Allen, who co-founded the Redmond computer giant (NASDAQ: MSFT) with Gates, is No. 41 on the list at $16 billion. And Microsoft’s current CEO, Steve Ballmer, is No. 43 on the list at $15 billion. Read more
